‘Bartender’ es el sencillo oficial del próximo álbum de Lady Antebellum, el trío estadounidense de música country pop, original de Nashville, Tennessee, conformado por Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott y David Haywood.

El tema, que contó con la colaboración de Rodney Clawson, es la primera canción que han escrito juntos los integrantes de la agrupación.

“Hemos estado ocupados escribiendo y estamos tan entusiasmados con la nueva música, que no podemos esperar para sacar el nuevo álbum”, dijo Haywood en un comunicado de prensa. Por su parte, Charles Kelley expresó que “siempre es genial cuando se puede expresar lo que se siente”.

El grupo, que tiene ya cinco álbumes publicados, se formó en 2006 y luego de dos años ya había logrado un tercer puesto en el Hot Country Songs, con ‘Love don’t live here’, un sencillo que forma parte de su primer larga duración homónimo. En 2011 obtuvo cinco Grammy en las siguientes categorías: grabación del año, canción del año, canción country del año, con ‘Need You Now’, disco country del año y mejor actuación realizada por un grupo.

Los integrantes de Lady Antebellum coinciden en afirmar que ‘Bartender’ representa un giro en su producción musical. El sencillo está disponible en iTunes y otras plataformas digitales.
